Bristol Marunde (b. April 20, 1982, Fairbanks, Alaska) is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. In 2007 he fought for the Seattle Tiger Sharks of the International Fight League. He currently resides and fights out of Las Vegas, NV where he trains at gyms Xtreme Couture and Warrior Training Center. He trains with Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin and many world class fighters.

BioEdit

Bristol Marunde was born in Fairbanks, Alaska but moved with his family to Seattle at an early age. In Seattle, Marunde established fame when he applied his MMA techniques to apprehend a wanted rapist lurking in his neighbor’s house when she arrived home. The Chief of Police and the Mayor presented him with an outstanding citizen award for his actions.

Bristol was encouraged to try MMA by his older brother Jesse Marunde who placed 2nd in the 2005 World's Strongest Man contest in China. Bristol was devistated by the Death of Jesse in 2007 but has continued fighting and won his last 5 fights. Entering the Cage Bristol not only fights for himself, but to make his brother proud.
