Kevin Casey is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently signed with the Strikeforce promotion.
MMA career[]
Casey was born in Inglewood, California. He began to study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1999 when he befriended Rockson Gracie, son of Rickson Gracie. Casey made his professional mixed martial arts debut in September 2007 for the K-1 Hero's promotion in Japan.
Casey is a supporter of CHAMP, a non-profit organization founded by his brother Keith Casey that works to build the minds and bodies of inner city youth through mixed martial arts.
Casey is a self promoted Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu. The Brown Belt, and Rickson Gracie protege, was banned from the school by Kron Gracie the son of Rickson Gracie after his self promotion.
