Template:Nihongo is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently fighting at welterweight. His hometown is Osaka, but is currently living and training in Tokyo as freelance. A veteran of the Pancrase organization, Kunioku captured the Middleweight and Welterweight King of Pancrase championship titles before leaving the organization in 2004 to compete in the K-1 HERO'S mixed martial arts organization. He has fought in Pancrase in over 50 different occasions. [1] He has also competed in the Abu Dhabi Professional Submission Grappling Tournament in 2003, but did not place.
