Rumble on the Rock 4 was the fourth event held by Rumble on the Rock. It took place on October 10, 2003 at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. Among the MMA notables on the card were WEC Bantamweight contender Antonio Banuelos, current Strikeforce Lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez, former UFC Heavyweight title contender Paul Buentello, and a lightweight match to determine "the Mixed Martial Arts championship of the world"; former #1 B.J. Penn and former #2 Takanori Gomi went toe-to-toe. None of the nine fights on the card went the distance.

Ebanez won via TKO due to punches at 2:53 of Round 2.

Featherweight Bout: Gilbert Melendez vs. Stephen Palling[]

Melendez won via TKO due to punches at 4:59 of Round 2.

Sean Taylor vs. Ronald Jhun[]

Taylor's corner threw in the towel at 3:05 of Round 2, giving the victory to Jhun.

Gil Castillo vs. Renato Verissimo[]

Castillo could not answer the bell for the start of Round 3, giving the victory to Verissimo.

Heavyweight Bout: Paul Buentello vs. Andy Montana[]

Buentello knocked out Montana with a head kick at 2:09 of Round 1.

Dennis Hallman vs. Ray Cooper[]

Hallman submitted Cooper with a guillotine at 0:43 of Round 1.
