Razak Al-Hassan (Arabic: الرزاق حسن) (born May 14, 1982) is an American professional mixed martial artist.
On December 10, 2008, Al-Hassan fought against Steve Cantwell at the event UFC: Fight For The Troops in North Carolina. Cantwell was able to put Hassan in an armbar from which Hassan could not escape. Al-Hassan did not tap out and Cantwell continued to apply pressure to his arm until he dislocated his elbow; he became the first man to beat Al-Hassan in a professional mixed martial arts match.
After healing the injury, Razak lost via split decision against Kyle Kingsbury at UFC 104. He was released after the loss at 104, but his fighter bio still stands on ufc.com, which leaves fans skeptical on whether he was released or not.
